March 6-10th, 2026 | Selvática Eco Retreat | Pacific Coast, Costa Rica

I’m beyond grateful to share that our second Roots & Renewal Retreat is happening — this time in the magical Costa Rican jungle, a place that’s become such a sanctuary for me. I can’t wait to experience it together. 🌺

About Selvática Eco Retreat

Selvática Eco Retreat was founded by Sander and Cristina, two visionaries who dreamed of creating a sanctuary where people could return to nature, slow down, and reconnect with themselves. What began as an idea has since become a reality: a thoughtfully designed retreat space built from the ground up, nestled in the lush hills above Costa Rica’s Central Pacific beaches.

Together, Sander and Cristina live their values every day — whether through cooking nourishing meals, guiding yoga and breathwork, holding space for ice baths, or simply welcoming guests into the rhythms of their eco-sanctuary. Their approach is grounded in simplicity, mindfulness, and alignment with nature. These values guide every decision they make and shape the experience for each person who visits.

The Space

Selvática is a private eco-sanctuary located just outside the beach town of Jacó and the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park. The retreat sits where raw jungle meets rolling cow fields, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Only 20 minutes down the hill lie the palm-lined beaches of Bejuco and Esterillos Este, perfect for peaceful walks and swims. To the north is the lively surf town of Jacó, while an hour south is the world-renowned Manuel Antonio National Park.

The location is both secluded and accessible — ideal for retreating from daily life while still being close to Costa Rica’s most iconic adventures.

The Experience

Life at Selvática flows with the rhythm of nature. Guests often wake to the call of toucans, hear monkeys swinging through the canopy, and breathe in the scent of tropical blooms carried on the breeze.

The word Selvática means “of the jungle” in Spanish, and the retreat truly embodies this spirit. Whether practicing yoga in the Sky Shala with sweeping ocean views or grounding in the Jungle Shala beneath the trees, nature is woven into every moment of the experience.

  • A jungle pool surrounded by flowers and birdsong

🌸 About Your Hosts

Olivia Anelise
Born and raised near Chicago, my mixed Puerto Rican and American heritage sparked an early love for culture, food, and storytelling.

After losing vision in one eye at age 10, I developed a deeper connection to my other senses — and to the healing power of slowing down and savoring life.

At 25, I took my first solo trip to Bali and discovered a new way of living — one rooted in nature, ritual, and curiosity. Since then, I’ve traveled through Mexico, Japan, Costa Rica, Southeast Asia, and beyond, studying Ayurveda, women’s health, and the art of creating nourishing spaces.

Through my retreats, YouTube channel, and writing, I love bringing people together to reconnect with themselves, the earth, and the beauty of everyday rituals.

Floriane Brossaud
Originally from France, Flo left behind her corporate life six years ago with just a backpack and a dream of exploring the world.

Along the way, she discovered yoga not only as a physical practice, but as a way of living with intention, balance, and compassion.

She completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and Yin Yoga certification through Yoga Academy International, and has since guided students around the world — blending movement, meditation, sound healing, and sacred cacao ceremonies.

Flo’s mission is to create safe, welcoming spaces where everyone feels supported to explore their practice, reconnect with their body, and open to new possibilities.
