Slow travel experiences rooted in ritual, nature, and connection

THE MEANING OF ANILA

‍ ‍Anila

Derived from Sanskrit, Anila means breath, air, life force.

It is the unseen energy that moves through everything —
the wind on your skin,
the inhale that grounds you,
the exhale that lets go.

Anila Collective is an invitation
to return to that flow.

WHAT IS ANILA COLLECTIVE

Anila Collective is a space to reconnect —
to yourself, to nature, and to a slower, more intentional way of living.

Rooted in ritual, movement, nourishment, and cultural immersion,
each experience is designed to feel both grounding and expansive.

This is not an escape —
it’s a return to yourself.

While each retreat is thoughtfully designed with a guiding structure,
there is also space to move with the energy of the group —
to slow down when needed, to linger in moments, and to allow the experience to unfold naturally.

Through shared meals, daily movement, time in nature, and meaningful connection,
these retreats invite you to soften, be present, and trust the rhythm of where you are.

Each journey is intentional — not just where you go,
but how you feel while you’re there.

Hi, I’m Olivia —
a yoga teacher, retreat host, and creator of spaces rooted in connection, nourishment, and intentional living.

My journey has taken me across the world — from living in places like Mexico, Guatemala, and Asia — where I’ve experienced the power of slowing down, reconnecting, and living more deeply.

I created Anila Collective as a way to bring people together in meaningful spaces — blending movement, ritual, food, culture, and nature into experiences that feel both grounding and expansive.

My intention is simple:
to create a space where you feel welcomed, supported, and free to be fully yourself.

I had a transformative experience at the retreat, discovering how daily yoga opened up my body and showed me how much more flexible I am, both physically and mentally. The sense of community was something I had missed, and this retreat brought that connection back into my life. Olivia’s presence was a highlight for me—she brought a human warmth, softness, and understanding that made me feel truly comfortable. The herbal experiences she led were beautiful, and her calming nature was something I truly appreciated. Olivia’s guidance and the sense of connection made this retreat a truly meaningful experience for me. I also want to give a special shout-out to the staff at Pueblo del Sol—they were incredibly accommodating and made our stay even more special.

I felt carried by the energy of the group and had the feeling that anything was possible together. Thank you for creating magical moments in the most magical place.

— Mary M.

Olivia was the ultimate hostesses and guides. The program was very well throughly out and executed. I experienced great peace, joy and connection while attending Roots and Renewal and would recommend to anyone looking to unplug and recharge.

— Jean N.

I entered the retreat with no expectations truly open to the experience and enjoyed every moment. They created from the very outset a safe inclusive environment and their carefully curated agenda provided so many opportunities for self reflection, growth and a deep sense of connectivity and grounding with others and Mother Nature. I would absolutely recommend going with your heart saying yes to the opportunity and diving right in! Enjoy!

Into the Wild Bloom · A Women’s Jungle Retreat in Costa Rica

Into the Wild Bloom is an invitation — a return to the earth, to your senses, and to your most natural self.

In the lush heart of Costa Rica’s jungle, we’ll gather as women to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the rhythm of nature that lives within us. Surrounded by towering palms, tropical birds, and the hum of the forest, we’ll move gently through our days with a blend of yoga, ritual, juicing, and creative exploration.

Through movement, meditation, and breathwork, you’ll ground into your body. Juicing and nourishment workshopswill awaken your vitality with vibrant cold-pressed blends, herbs, and tropical fruits — daily reminders of the earth’s abundance.

We’ll spend time outdoors — swimming beneath waterfalls, walking barefoot in the soil, painting with natural pigments, and sharing laughter under the canopy.

This retreat is not about striving or doing. It’s about listening — to your body, your breath, and the living world around you. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live in harmony with nature, to honor your cycles, and to create from a place of softness and connection.
